Our Team

Rebekah Spetnagel, MSS, RD and Julie Bush, MBA started On The Menu, LLC in 2004 to assist the food service industry with their nutrition and marketing needs. Over the past five years we have honed our skills to help over 100 clients reach their target audiences through nutrition analysis, labeling and marketing.

Rebekah combines her expertise in nutrition and marketing at On The Menu. She is a registered dietitian with 20 years experience in clinical and community nutrition and has a Master’s Degree in Communications, specializing in Marketing. Rebekah uses her knowledge of nutrition to help the food industry analyze their foods and understand the dietary needs of their clientele. She is a member of the American, Colorado and Denver Dietetic Associations, the Celiac Sprue Association and the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network.

Julie has over five years experience as a nutrition consultant and 18 years experience in writing, editing and marketing. She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing. Her knowledge, interest and love of food and nutrition combine well with her professional background to bring passion and expertise to On The Menu. Prior to On The Menu, Julie was a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, schools and professional organizations. Her love of food and interest in nutrition combines well with her professional background to bring passion and professionalism to On The Menu. She is a member of Slow Food International.
