Menu Labeling
At On The Menu, LLC we use Genesis R&D SQL, which is internationally recognized as the most accurate, most complete nutrition analysis system. Our comprehensive database of more than 25,000 foods is meticulously researched to give you the most exact computerized nutrient analysis available. We continually add new foods to our database and can include any products specific to your restaurant.
The nutrient analysis results typically include:
- Calories
- Calories from Fat
- Total Fat
- Saturated Fat
- Trans Fat
- Cholesterol
- Sodium
- Total Carbohydrate
- Dietary Fiber
- Sugars
- Protein
Nutrient analysis results will be presented for each menu item. The information will be displayed in an Excel spreadsheet. Please choose this link to view an example spreadsheet.
If your goal is to meet specific nutrition and health claims or to meet the nutrition criterion for an established nutrition program, On The Menu can modify your recipe(s) as needed.
Once you receive your completed spreadsheet you have several options on posting your results. In some areas, legislation requires you post certain nutrient information directly on you menu, menu board. Here is an example of how many of our clients upload the spreadsheet data directly to their website.
