The recently released FDA calorie and nutrition labeling rules require retail food establishments with 20 or more locations to clearly and conspicuously post the calorie content of food and beverages. In addition to calories, restaurants also must have nutrient data to supply their customers upon request. The deadline for compliance is December 1, 2015.
