The FDA has issued a temporary policy regarding nutrition labeling of standard menu items. Chain restaurants and similar retail food establishments are receiving leniency in response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency. FDA Menu Labeling Draft Guidance Issued
Today the Food and Drug Administration released a second draft guidance for FDA menu labeling. The FDA menu labeling guide helps restaurants and other retail food establishments with 20 locations or more comply with legislation going into effect December 1, 2016.
