Giving Back Is Always On Our Menu
We’ve found a few causes that are close to our hearts, and we’ve donated our time, services and profits to them.
The Foundation of Goodness
Based in Sri Lanka, Foundation of Goodness provides essential facilities and programs that benefit 20,000 people from over 25 villages free of cost. On The Menu analyzed spice mixes, provided Nutrition Facts labels and ingredient statements for their food projects, sold worldwide to support and sustain the program.
Project Angel Heart
Project Angel Heart provides meals to people in Denver living with life-threatening illnesses. On The Menu has volunteered over 100 hours of nutrition analysis services.
Denver Urban Gardens
A non-profit organization that operates and assists with the creation and management of over 60 metro area community gardens and small parks, DUG provides participants the opportunity to supplement their diets with produce grown in nearby public gardens. On The Menu helps DUG develop recipes for kids to learn how to utilize the vegetables and herbs grown in their gardens and develop healthy habits for life.
The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network
On The Menu is a continuing sponsor of the annual FAAN Walk for Food Allergies.
Colorado Haiti Project, Inc.
When our good friend Mary Beth Haas, a nurse practitioner, traveled to Haiti to assist with women’s health needs, we were a proud sponsor of her generous volunteer work.
